Responsibilities
- Analyze complex technical concepts and apply them to solution design and implementation.
- Develop, deliver, and enhance Java-based applications supporting Corporate Actions processing.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code and conduct unit testing while supporting downstream testing.
- Implement and optimize database queries and stored procedures for application functionality and performance.
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, and operational readiness standards.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects and production issues with timely, sustainable fixes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in technology roles within the financial industry.
- At least 5 years of experience with Oracle SQL.
- At least 5 years of experience with Java.
- Advanced hands-on experience with Core Java, J2EE, Servlets, JDBC, Spring Boot, and REST Web Services.
- Experience with Oracle DB, SQL, and code repositories or code management tools such as Git or SVN.
- Experience working in an Agile ecosystem.
- Strong written and verbal communication, detailed technical comprehension, multitasking, and initiative.
- Preferred experience includes API development, MQ, cloud-based development, and custody, securities processing, settlements, asset servicing, or Corporate Actions platforms.
