Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, debug, document, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and React.
- Build RESTful APIs, microservices, event-driven integrations, cloud-native solutions, and deployment automation.
- Design and optimize Oracle or other relational database solutions and NoSQL data stores.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Git, Harness, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and related tools.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and improve application reliability, scalability, observability, and performance.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, security teams, QA teams, and other stakeholders to deliver business capabilities.
- Participate in code reviews and design discussions, mentor less experienced staff, and improve automated test coverage.
- Contribute to application modernization, cloud migration, platform engineering, and security-by-design initiatives.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, React.js, modern front-end development, and event-driven architectures.
- Experience with Apache Kafka, messaging and streaming concepts, producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and event-driven integration patterns.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, Git, and branching strategies.
- Experience developing automated unit tests, integration tests, and test automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure.
- Strong database development and design experience with Oracle or other relational databases, including SQL optimization, performance tuning, and schema design.
- Experience with a NoSQL database such as MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.
- Understanding of software design patterns, secure coding, application performance optimization, and distributed-team collaboration.
- Awareness of Python for automation, scripting, data processing, or AI/ML initiatives.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity, Identity and Access Management, authentication, authorization, or Privileged Access Management is preferred.
