Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, stable, and scalable software solutions.
- Write high-quality code in Python and other programming languages with limited guidance.
- Build and support full-stack applications, APIs, and related architecture and design artifacts.
- Use enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, refactoring, and documentation while validating outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
- Analyze large and diverse datasets and create visualizations and reporting to improve software applications and systems.
- Apply software development lifecycle tools, source control, branching strategies, deployment practices, application resiliency, and secure coding standards.
- Identify patterns and hidden problems in data and use insights to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
- Proficiency in Python with hands-on expertise in Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Experience with React and AngularJS, API development, and Astronomer/Airflow.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining software in a large corporate environment using modern programming and database querying languages.
- Experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to critically evaluate and refine generated outputs.
- Understanding of agile methodologies, application resiliency, system integration, secure coding, source control, branching strategies, and cloud deployment.
- Preferred: familiarity with modern frontend technologies, cloud technologies, networking concepts, a basic CCNA certification, Kubernetes, and Docker.
