Responsibilities
- Lead high-level and low-level architecture and design for multi-tenant Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes clusters across on-premise and hybrid-cloud environments.
- Define infrastructure technology stacks, standards, blueprints, and deployment architectures for AI solutions across AWS, Azure, GCP, and on-premise hardware.
- Oversee rollout of AI SOC, OpenShift AI, and AI-based cybersecurity log optimization services.
- Define automation and Infrastructure-as-Code strategies using Ansible, Terraform, Python, and Git-based workflows.
- Lead customer design workshops, architecture validation, executive technical reviews, and global technical consulting engagements.
- Design secure AI applications, container networking, zero-trust security, service mesh, and micro-segmentation architectures.
- Integrate OpenShift with Cisco ACI, VXLAN, RHEL-V, VMware ESXi, and physical and virtualized infrastructure.
- Design GPU acceleration and multi-tenant resource utilization using NVIDIA GPU Operator, Node Feature Discovery, MIG, and time-slicing.
- Architect CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions with security and compliance controls.
- Design monitoring, logging, and reliability architectures using Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK to support 99.99% service availability.
- Mentor L2/L3 engineers and provide expert escalation support and technical leadership to DevOps and Network teams.
- Evaluate emerging technologies including Advanced Cluster Management, Advanced Cluster Security, and OVN-Kubernetes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in systems architecture, infrastructure engineering, or network DevOps.
- Expert or architect-level proficiency with OpenShift and Kubernetes in large-scale production environments.
- Experience architecting hybrid-cloud OpenShift solutions involving AWS ROSA, Azure ARO, or Google Cloud.
- Mastery of Ansible, Terraform, and Git-based infrastructure workflows.
- Deep knowledge of Linux and RHEL internals, kernel networking, CSI storage drivers, and CRI-O container runtimes.
- In-depth knowledge of BGP, VXLAN, and EVPN for connecting containerized workloads with physical data-center fabrics.
- Ability to develop architecture-as-code compliance artifacts, design validation reports, and automated documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-stakes customer relationships and lead cross-functional technical teams.
- Preferred certifications include RHCA, Red Hat OpenShift certifications, CKA, CKS, AWS or GCP DevOps Engineer, AWS SysOps Administrator, Terraform Associate, AWS Certified AI Practitioner, CISSP, or CCSP.
- Preferred experience includes Quay, StackRox, zero-trust frameworks, Cisco ACI, Arista CloudVision, Juniper Apstra, Red Hat OpenShift AI, LLM deployment, vector database infrastructure, cybersecurity platforms, Kubeflow, MLflow, and high-speed telemetry pipelines.
