Responsibilities
- Develop mission planner algorithms, including graph search and integration with behavioral planning.
- Integrate and test developed applications in the robot, learning and making improvements.
- Collaborate with team members to support integration of software components across Zoox.
- Set short and long term technical direction for the team.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives with other teams.
Requirements
- BS/MS in Computer Science or a related field.
- Programming skills in C++.
- Understanding and experience with various graph search techniques (A*, D*, Dijkstra).
- Demonstrated ability to write code for a shipped product.
- Ability to work on multiple layers of the autonomous driving compute stack.
- At least 2 years of industry experience.
