Responsibilities
- Provide cloud architecture and cloud infrastructure engineering expertise to IT and business teams.
- Develop target-state architectures and enterprise platform strategies for scalable, secure, business-aligned cloud and AI solutions.
- Lead large-scale Azure, AWS, and GCP migrations and provide technical, architectural, and delivery oversight for Azure cloud projects.
- Collaborate with Product Management, Architecture, Software Engineering, Infrastructure, and Reliability Engineering teams to operationalize DevOps processes, tools, and monitoring.
- Translate technical requirements into business requirements, communicate risks, and present architecture materials to senior leadership and technical teams.
- Create high-level and low-level design documents, diagrams, and workflows.
- Support projects through design, implementation, cutover, hyper care, and operational transition.
- Provide troubleshooting and level 3 engineering support for infrastructure and applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent years of experience.
- Eight years of infrastructure, cloud infrastructure, and software engineering experience.
- Experience establishing enterprise cloud strategy and architecture and leading large-scale Azure, AWS, or GCP migrations.
- Experience with cloud application modernization automation and development best practices.
- Experience with enterprise network design, segmentation, encryption, logging, monitoring, firewalls, network authentication controls, and Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Experience with Splunk, New Relic, Logstash, or CloudTrail for logging and monitoring.
- Deep understanding of Azure and/or AWS cloud environments.
- Knowledge of infrastructure automation, application build and deployment automation, Docker, Kubernetes, DNS/DDI, networking management, Terraform, Ansible, GitHub, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, and Jenkins.
- Understanding of cloud security architectures for cloud and hybrid systems.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, presentation, architectural articulation, and leadership skills.
