Base Salary
$175k - $215k/yr
Responsibilities
- Implement deep-learning, computer vision, and inverse-procedural modeling algorithms in Python.
- Apply machine-learning and computer-graphics research to real-world problems.
- Collaborate with cofounders to translate product vision and customer requirements into technical milestones.
- Deploy and test code on remote machines through a Unix shell using large-scale geospatial datasets to generate 3D content.
- Use Git to manage source code and modularize complex implementation tasks.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of relevant industry experience in a fast-paced, high-growth technology environment.
- Professional experience as a deep-learning engineer or applied research engineer.
- Experience training and debugging artificial neural networks or related experience with gradient descent, nonlinear optimization, or classical machine learning.
- Fluency with Python, Git, and the Unix shell.
- Strong background in linear algebra, statistics, probability, and numerical methods.
- Modern C++ experience is preferred for interfacing with data-ingestion and product pipelines.
- Experience in multidisciplinary industries such as robotics, smart grids, precision agriculture, game development, or aerospace is highly valued.
- Strong communication, collaboration, attention to detail, and ability to meet R&D milestones in an early-stage startup environment.
