Responsibilities
- Design and implement Go services following domain-driven design.
- Build and maintain event pipelines between the operator-facing layer and the autonomy stack.
- Define and extend RESTful API contracts.
- Deliver real-time fleet state through event-driven and streaming connections with robustness and redundancy.
- Maintain operator-facing PostgreSQL data through versioned migrations.
- Maintain and extend service instrumentation for system observability.
- Identify problems, performance bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities while collaborating with development, QA, and operations teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of backend software engineering or related experience.
- Experience building resilient services with graceful degradation and recovery.
- Strong experience with Go or similar backend languages and concurrent, high-traffic systems.
- Hands-on RESTful API design and development experience, preferably with Fiber or Gin.
- Experience with relational databases, ORMs, query optimization, and schema migrations, including PostgreSQL or GORM.
- Experience with message-driven architectures and event pipelines such as Kafka.
- Excellent English communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred: experience with large-scale distributed systems.
- Preferred: experience with real-time or streaming systems such as WebSockets.
- Preferred: familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana.
- Preferred: familiarity with TypeScript and ability to support the frontend team.
