Base Salary

$138k - $185k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, execute, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality software solutions and production code.
  • Design and implement backend services and APIs using Java and Spring Boot, including integrations with data stores and downstream systems.
  • Develop modern web user interfaces using React and TypeScript with reusable components and design-system patterns.
  • Implement accessible user interfaces supporting keyboard navigation, semantic markup, and assistive technologies in alignment with WCAG practices.
  • Analyze large and diverse datasets, create visualizations and reporting, and use insights to improve applications, coding hygiene, and system architecture.
  • Use and validate enterprise-authorized AI-assisted development tools for coding, refactoring, testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
  • Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events focused on emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and at least 3 years of applied experience.
  • Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Extensive experience designing, developing, and delivering enterprise-scale applications with full-stack front-end and back-end expertise.
  • Experience working with design systems or component libraries and applying consistent UI standards at scale.
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages and database querying languages.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise-authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to evaluate, validate, and refine their outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
  • Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle and understanding of CI/CD, application resiliency, and security.
  • Preferred: familiarity with modern front-end technologies, exposure to cloud technologies, and experience building unit, integration, and UI automated tests.
