Base Salary
$188k - $282k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering teams to incorporate secure design principles into technical designs.
- Review security-critical code and serve as code owner for authentication, access control, and administration components.
- Implement security features and add unit and integration tests for security controls.
- Manage the security aspects of the software release process.
- Audit the codebase for vulnerabilities and improve static analysis and vulnerability management tooling.
- Discover vulnerabilities through red team exercises and participate in security incident response mitigation strategies.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in security-focused software engineering.
- Experience working at or with a small company or hyper-growth startup.
- Demonstrated ability to write high-quality software and raise the quality bar of engineering teams.
- Demonstrated ability to identify software vulnerabilities through CVEs, bug bounty awards, blog posts, or prior work experience.
