Base Salary
$126k - $248k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, architect, build, and deliver core Identity and Access Management systems for MongoDB Atlas.
- Lead projects and complex technical initiatives from specification through delivery.
- Mentor and grow other team members.
- Improve the codebase, engineering best practices, and design principles.
- Define priorities, communicate focus areas, and execute against them.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, primarily focused on backend systems.
- Proficiency in a modern compiled programming language such as Java, Go, C#, or C++.
- Willingness to learn JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern frontend technologies such as React and Redux; prior experience is a plus.
- Experience with IAM systems such as OAuth, SSO, RBAC, ABAC, ReBAC, login, and registration is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication, collaboration, mentoring, problem-solving, and learning skills.
