Base Salary
$106k - $209k/yr
Responsibilities
- Improve the functionality, performance, availability, scalability, and robustness of MongoDB networking and observability systems.
- Build low-overhead observability features and enhance observability frameworks.
- Lead medium-sized networking or observability projects from technical design through delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-team stakeholders throughout ideation, requirements gathering, design, execution, and delivery.
- Take on primary code review responsibilities and participate in reviewing designs for new features.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building distributed systems.
- Hands-on experience building production-level code, with C++ experience required.
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design and architecture.
- Interest in networking, observability, computer architecture, and system internals as they affect SaaS availability.
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
