Base Salary

$106k - $209k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Improve the functionality, performance, availability, scalability, and robustness of MongoDB networking and observability systems.
  • Build low-overhead observability features and enhance observability frameworks.
  • Lead medium-sized networking or observability projects from technical design through delivery.
  • Collaborate with cross-team stakeholders throughout ideation, requirements gathering, design, execution, and delivery.
  • Take on primary code review responsibilities and participate in reviewing designs for new features.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience building distributed systems.
  • Hands-on experience building production-level code, with C++ experience required.
  • Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and software design and architecture.
  • Interest in networking, observability, computer architecture, and system internals as they affect SaaS availability.
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
