Responsibilities
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable backend services for personalization systems.
- Define and drive architectural improvements for system reliability and scalability.
- Collaborate with Product and Data teams to provide tailored user content.
- Mentor and guide engineers, promoting technical excellence.
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies to improve the backend stack.
- Enhance system observability, performance, and resilience.
- Write clean, well-tested, and efficient code as a hands-on engineer.
- Lead technical planning and project execution, breaking down complex problems.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in full stack/backend software development.
- Expertise in React, Kotlin, TypeScript, and SQL databases (PostgreSQL or MySQL).
- Proven experience in architecting and scaling complex backend systems.
- Strong knowledge of distributed systems and service-oriented architecture.
- Deep understanding of system performance and scalability best practices.
- Ability to translate complex requirements into actionable plans.
- Advanced English communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in mentoring and guiding engineers.
- Fluency with AI engineering tools.
