Base Salary
$97k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new or revised application systems and programs using Java/J2EE technologies.
- Perform systems analysis, feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, design, construction, testing, implementation, and post-implementation support.
- Develop enterprise web applications, REST services, microservices, database solutions, and automated tests.
- Monitor development activities, assess risks, evaluate business and system processes, and recommend programming solutions.
- Consult with users, clients, and technology teams while providing application and operational support.
- Establish operating standards and processes and ensure required procedures and controls are followed.
- Advise or coach new and lower-level analysts and serve as a subject matter expert to stakeholders.
- Develop security measures and support compliance with applicable laws, policies, and regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or university degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of relevant SDLC experience and 4 years of systems analysis and software application programming experience.
- At least 3 years of enterprise web application development and REST services experience using Java/J2EE.
- At least 3 years of experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, Hibernate, RESTful web services, Core Java, multithreading, collections, and Spring Framework.
- At least 3 years of experience with Oracle and/or MongoDB databases and SQL queries.
- Experience with microservices architecture, software engineering best practices, object-oriented programming, design patterns, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Git or Bitbucket and code-quality tools such as Sonar.
- Ability to design and implement unit, integration, and functional tests.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written communication, and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of cloud-native development, Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift is preferred.
- Experience with event-driven architecture using Kafka is preferred.

- Full-time Tampa, Florida position with a base salary range of $96,960.00-$145,440.00 per year, plus potentially eligible discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
