Responsibilities
- Design and build scalability testing frameworks and tools for Prime Video services.
- Analyze system dependencies, load characteristics, and failure modes to identify and resolve scalability blockers.
- Collaborate with service teams to explain scalability challenges, promote best practices, and integrate the team's frameworks.
- Contribute across requirements, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and operations while maintaining code quality and documentation.
- Evaluate new approaches and technologies for scale-readiness tooling and recommend appropriate adoption.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
