Base Salary

$79k - $119k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Deploy, automate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve systems and software infrastructure.
  • Design and implement application builds, releases, deployments, and configuration activities.
  • Develop, modify, and maintain customized or standardized applications across the full systems engineering lifecycle.
  • Integrate, troubleshoot, and test hardware and software changes, including automated testing and large-data analysis.
  • Design system architectures, define capabilities, performance requirements, external interfaces, implementation approaches, and operational concepts.
  • Document product and service requirements and develop test procedures to validate user requests.
  • Support E-2 software operations during travel and communicate issues to the Melbourne team.
  • Collaborate with program management, government customers, end users, systems analysts, and programmers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline with two or more years of experience, or a master’s degree in a STEM discipline.
  • Development experience with Bash or other Linux scripting.
  • Development experience with software and system testing.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain special program access and Secret clearance required to start.
  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Preferred experience with C, C++, or other object-oriented languages.
  • Preferred experience developing with Windows and Linux.
  • Preferred experience with the Atlassian tool suite, Git, Confluence, and Ansible.
  • Experience with Agile development methodology.
