Responsibilities
- Develop and launch new user features using internal datasets and ML techniques.
- Gain hands-on experience with production ML systems, including algorithmic research and data engineering.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate engineering implementation and experimentation.
- Validate AI-generated outputs through testing and code review.
- Use AI to understand unfamiliar code and investigate bugs.
- Contribute to cutting-edge research in machine learning and AI.
- Write clean, efficient, and sustainable code.
- Take proactive ownership of tasks and projects with minimal guidance.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a PhD in Computer Science, ML, NLP, Statistics, or related field.
- Experience in Computer Vision, Visual Search, or Recommendation Systems.
- Mastery of at least one systems language (Java, C++, Python) and one ML framework (Tensorflow, Pytorch).
- Proficiency with AI-native engineering and agent-friendly codebases.
- Strong critical thinking skills for validating AI-generated suggestions.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours/week) from September to December 2026.
- Experience in research and solving analytical problems.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as a team player.
