Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, troubleshoot, and maintain secure full-stack software solutions.
- Build responsive and accessible frontend experiences along with scalable backend APIs and services.
- Lead system and application design for complex initiatives and maintain architecture and design artifacts.
- Review and debug code, provide technical guidance, and mentor engineers across teams.
- Improve resiliency, availability, performance, operability, incident response, and root-cause prevention.
- Advance automation, testing, CI/CD practices, quality controls, and release processes.
- Drive adoption of authorized AI-assisted engineering practices and lead engineering communities of practice.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience delivering production systems.
- Frontend and backend development experience with web applications, APIs, and services.
- Advanced proficiency in at least one programming language and hands-on system design and application development experience.
- Knowledge of testing, operational stability, secure development, resiliency, reliability, security, and the SDLC.
- Experience with automation, continuous delivery, and modern web development concepts.
- Strong communication skills and ability to drive outcomes with cross-functional teams.
- Preferred: cloud-native, containerized, distributed systems, observability, production readiness, mentoring, financial services, enterprise technology, and AI/ML product experience.
