Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Develop robust cloud-based solutions for auto-loan, dealership, regulatory, and customer-facing business needs.
- Use Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.
- Define service boundaries, integration patterns, reusable frameworks, coding standards, and design patterns with architects and engineering teams.
- Identify improvement opportunities, perform targeted refactoring, reduce technical debt, and optimize distributed-system performance.
- Provide technical leadership across Agile teams, mentor engineers, and influence long-term technology strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, 7+ years coding with multiple listed languages, database experience, cloud experience, open-source framework contributions, and front-end JavaScript or TypeScript framework experience.
- Preferred experience includes APIs, automated testing frameworks, Git-based version control, cloud troubleshooting, observability, AI-based coding tools, mentoring, technical leadership, and large-scale engineering initiatives.
