Responsibilities
- Design and operate high-throughput, strictly consistent, globally available APIs for AWS Lambda and CloudFormation.
- Build asynchronous workflows that orchestrate function lifecycles, including creation, code deployment, and version publishing.
- Ensure configuration and metadata changes propagate to the correct compute fleets and regions with ordering guarantees despite partial failures.
- Own solutions end-to-end from API contracts through data-plane handoff.
- Participate in on-call operations, incident resolution, and root-cause analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- Experience designing and operating distributed systems in production.
- Ability to own ambiguous problems end-to-end from API contract through data-plane handoff.
- Strong fundamentals in at least one of Java, Python, or TypeScript.
- Preferred experience developing and deploying serverless applications using AWS services, including event-driven architectures, Lambda business logic, integrations with other AWS services, and performance and cost optimization.
