Responsibilities
- Design, code, enhance, and optimize software components, data pipelines, and workflows.
- Develop custom software solutions using Databricks and distributed computing or big data processing frameworks.
- Act as a subject-matter expert and contribute to decisions across multiple teams.
- Lead implementation of software development best practices and coordinate cross-functional efforts.
- Provide solutions to immediate-team and cross-team technical problems.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional development.
Requirements
- Minimum five years of experience with the Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
- Experience with distributed computing and big data processing frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to design and optimize scalable data pipelines and workflows.
- Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and integration techniques.
- 15 years of full-time education.
