Base Salary
$104k - $166k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Build Infrastructure as Code with Terraform and design enterprise-scale GitLab CI pipelines and reusable components.
- Own automation from IaC authorship through pipeline design and production operations.
- Monitor AWS environments and SaaS application logs, troubleshoot incidents, and improve performance and availability.
- Participate in on-call rotation and contribute to observability, monitoring, reliability, and disaster recovery practices.
- Provide technical support and guidance to AWS and managed-service users.
- Guide cloud solution patterns, deployment strategies, and architecture decisions for ADTs and stakeholders.
- Manage AWS IAM roles, policies, permissions, and access controls.
- Perform backups, upgrades, maintenance, vulnerability remediation, audit support, and configuration documentation.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain the required Public Trust clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience, master’s degree with 6 years of experience, or high school diploma/equivalent with 12 years of experience.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of AWS architecture, networking, VPCs, routing, IAM, resource policies, encryption, serverless architectures, microservices, and containerization.
- Advanced Terraform and Infrastructure as Code experience.
- Experience designing and maintaining GitLab CI/CD pipelines, including reusable enterprise-scale components.
- Hands-on experience monitoring, analyzing, and troubleshooting SaaS application logs.
- Strong Python and Bash scripting skills; Ansible experience is preferred.
- Experience with configuration management, CloudWatch, Grafana, reliability, disaster recovery, Git, and cloud automation processes.
- Preferred experience with CloudFormation, PowerShell, JavaScript/Node.js, incident management, root cause analysis, high-priority incidents, and Agile environments.
- Willingness to undergo a pre-employment credit check as required by the customer.
