Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead development and integration of client-facing AI capabilities into front ends and interactive dashboards while meeting validation and responsible AI standards.
- Architect and implement structured and unstructured data pipelines from banking systems, external feeds, vendor platforms, APIs, and cloud platforms for AI and machine learning use cases.
- Lead data pipeline engineering, semantic architecture, context engineering, metadata management, data lineage, audit trails, and enterprise data integration practices.
- Collaborate with AI, data, model risk, cybersecurity, compliance, business, and vendor teams to define and deliver production AI capabilities.
- Provide leadership and mentoring across technical delivery teams, engineers, product managers, architects, and data analysts.
- Own end-to-end data integration product management vision and roadmap for AI transformation programs.
- Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and cost efficiency across hybrid cloud environments.
- Guide regulatory compliance, audits, governance frameworks, data privacy, encryption, access control, vendor negotiations, and service-level requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in data engineering or integration, preferably in financial services or banking.
- Strong proficiency with Python, SQL, VS Code, GitHub Copilot, data integration tools, cloud platforms, and container architecture.
- Hands-on experience building production-grade LLM and generative AI applications using patterns such as MCP, agentic AI, RAG, and NLP2SQL.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, PGVector or comparable vector databases, REST APIs, authentication, rate limiting, and error handling.
- Experience with Anthropic Claude and/or OpenAI GPT APIs, including prompt design, function or tool calling, and streaming.
- Experience with AI and machine learning frameworks, financial data providers, data governance, regulatory compliance, risk management, and asset management.
- Understanding of Oracle, Exadata, Snowflake, Databricks, Python, .NET/C#, React, Java, Unix/BASH Shell, Windows, and Linux.
