Responsibilities

Design, develop, and implement Kubernetes-native control planes using Crossplane and the Kubernetes Operator pattern.
Build providers and functions in Golang and develop scalable self-service infrastructure offerings for product teams.
Build, maintain, and review workflow automation and its underlying business logic using JavaScript or other scripting languages.
Enable and coach product teams through documentation, workshops, pairing, and hands-on guidance.
Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to align platform solutions with business objectives and technical strategies.
Contribute technical expertise to roadmaps, strategic direction, technical documentation, and operational procedures.
Troubleshoot complex control-plane and automation-tooling issues and recommend improvements.
Apply cloud-native and infrastructure-automation practices while ensuring compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.

At least 3 years of experience developing and operating Kubernetes Operators, ideally with Golang and Crossplane.
Experience building or extending workflow automation tooling with JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, or similar scripting languages.
Expert knowledge of Kubernetes and the cloud-native computing ecosystem.
Experience with Golang and at least one scripting language such as JavaScript, PowerShell, or Python.
Understanding of software development processes, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tooling, and Git.
Understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure including Windows, Linux, networking, virtualization, and cloud is a plus.
Proven ability to deliver technical projects independently and collaborate with multiple stakeholders.
Experience teaching, coaching, or enabling teams or engineers to adopt new tools and working methods.
A proven track record in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Fluent English is required; German is a plus.
Strong communication, adaptability, initiative, and ability to learn complex requirements quickly.
