Base Salary
$160k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own critical system components and turn complex requirements into robust solutions.
- Build and iterate on a high-scale document build system for constant time latency indexing.
- Architect and implement performance-tuning solutions to ensure efficient system operation.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of software development experience focused on backend engineering.
- Proficiency in backend and API systems using Python, Java, or Go.
- Extensive experience with cloud platforms like AWS.
- Working experience with technologies such as Kafka, ElasticSearch, PostgreSQL, and/or Redis.
- Ability to analyze complex problems and communicate technical concepts effectively.
- Proven experience in leading software development projects and collaborating with teams.
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and exploring new technologies.
- Autonomous and excited about taking ownership of major initiatives.
