Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain robust software for complex silicon engineering workflows.
- Translate silicon design and timing problems into effective software solutions.
- Develop algorithms to analyze and optimize design data and integrate with EDA tools and compute infrastructure.
- Review code for correctness, maintainability, bugs, and optimization opportunities.
- Contribute to architecture discussions, technical direction, software quality, automated testing, CI, and performance analysis.
Requirements
- Strong professional software engineering experience delivering substantial software systems or engineering tools.
- Strong professional Python development experience, including software design, debugging, and testing.
- Strong code review skills and the ability to understand unfamiliar code and identify correctness issues.
- Knowledge of algorithms, data structures, and software architecture.
- Experience developing software in Linux environments using modern version control, testing, and CI practices.
- A degree in computer science, software engineering, electronics engineering, or another relevant STEM discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Preferred experience includes Rust, semiconductor or VLSI domains, EDA, scientific computing, synchronous digital design, timing analysis, RTL-to-GDS flows, microprocessor architecture, Arm IP or SoCs, optimization, large-scale data processing, C++, Tcl, SystemVerilog, and LLM-based coding assistants.
