Responsibilities
- Design and discuss solutions for user stories and technical tasks.
- Drive the technical team and mentor junior resources.
- Develop, unit-test, integrate, deploy, maintain, and improve software applications.
- Perform peer code reviews and ensure solution quality.
- Participate in sprint activities, planning, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
- Apply continuous integration practices, including source control management, build automation, unit testing, and dependency management.
- Create and maintain automated CI build processes and write build and deployment scripts.
- Collaborate with product owners, IT architects, analysts, developers, and Scrum Masters to achieve sprint objectives.
- Manage task priorities, report progress in team management tools, and contribute to planning and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of solution design and development experience with PySpark and GCP.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python, Spark, PySpark, BigQuery, Dataproc, Composer, Terraform, Cloud SQL, and cloud development.
- Experience with software design patterns, UML design, APIs, microservices, and integrations using SOAP, XML, REST, and JSON.
- Experience configuring and deploying OpenShift, Kubernetes, and Docker environments with DevOps tools.
- Experience with Git, TeamCity, Maven, Sonar, and continuous build or integration infrastructure.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
- Knowledge of automated testing, continuous testing, behavior-driven development, acceptance test-driven development, pair working, and related Agile techniques.
- Strong communication skills, proactive teamwork, independent execution, and the ability to work with minimal technical or tool guidance.
- Professional knowledge of English is required.
- Knowledge of Unix, Java, SAS, mainframe systems, data warehouse management, banking regulations, or German is a plus.
- Ability to use AI tools to improve productivity and workflows while applying responsible judgment to data and AI outputs.
