Responsibilities
- Engineer and maintain customer-centric, high-performance, secure, and robust software solutions.
- Ship large features and improvements with minimal guidance while collaborating on larger projects.
- Solve highly complex technical problems and translate business requirements into software designs.
- Review code, features, technology, architecture, and designs while driving code quality and testing standards.
- Drive the technical roadmap and architecture for the team.
- Act as technical lead for the pod or team and drive large initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and help remove blockers to their technical autonomy.
- Partner with business and technical leadership to improve revenue and scale the product.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of programming experience.
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in performing the duties.
- Experience building scalable distributed systems and critical platform components that support rapid product scaling.
- Preferred experience scaling products from 1 to 100.
- Preferred experience with Python, Django, React, MongoDB, AWS, and GoLang.
- Ability to identify areas of impact and independently pursue them in an ambiguous environment.
- Bonus experience with marketplace platforms.
