MES Technical Lead (Apriso)

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and improve MES applications and systems focused on Apriso.
- Integrate MES applications with ERP, PLCs, PLM, and other enterprise manufacturing platforms.
- Ensure MES solutions meet reliability, scalability, manufacturing, validation, data integrity, GxP, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with production managers, engineers, IT staff, QA teams, and other stakeholders to define requirements and design manufacturing solutions.
- Write maintainable code, participate in code reviews, troubleshoot and debug systems, and upgrade existing MES applications.
- Support the full software development lifecycle, estimate tasks, identify manufacturing-process roadblocks, and propose solutions.
- Optimize MES systems for speed, scalability, compliance, and effective operation across production facilities.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in IT systems operations, focused on regulatory and quality solutions.
- Experience with software development in manufacturing environments and knowledge of MES principles and software engineering patterns.
- Experience with the Apriso platform and other MES technologies.
- Experience with version control systems such as GitHub and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and MES integration with enterprise systems such as ERP and PLM.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in business, information technology, or a related field.
- Advanced degrees or certifications are preferred; ITIL 4, PRINCE2, or GMP is a plus.
