Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end testing strategies using business and system knowledge.
- Analyze business and technical requirements to create detailed test plans and facilitate cross-team reviews.
- Create, review, organize, and audit regression test cases in JIRA Xray.
- Expand test coverage, address gaps, and ensure testing standards are met.
- Partner with the automation team to identify, prioritize, and develop automation candidate tests.
- Communicate testing progress, results, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management.
- Support new release, integration, operational, and production testing and delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software QA, preferably in trading, financial markets, or related industries.
- Established proficiency working in a Linux/Unix environment.
- Established proficiency using SQL in a relational database management system.
- Established proficiency testing REST APIs.
- Strong knowledge of Java and object-oriented system technologies is preferred.
- Experience with Java-based QA automation tools such as Cucumber, TestNG, and Selenium is preferred.
- Hands-on experience using QA AI tools is preferred.
