Responsibilities
- Build reusable automated test frameworks for web UI and API testing.
- Develop and execute automated tests using Python, Selenium, Playwright, RestAssured, Postman, and TestNG/JUnit.
- Write SQL queries to set and retrieve test data.
- Integrate automated testing with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Azure DevOps.
- Lead automation strategy and collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
- Design and present automation strategies, frameworks, and results to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support testing across multiple projects and initiatives while maintaining quality and timely delivery.
Requirements
- 8+ years of hands-on software testing experience, including automation.
- Strong expertise in web UI automation with Selenium and Playwright and API automation with RestAssured and Postman.
- Strong Python programming skills with TestNG/JUnit, execution, reporting, reusable framework development, and CI/CD integration.
- Ability to write SQL queries for testing data setup and retrieval.
- Experience leading automation strategy and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or another technology-related field, or equivalent years of experience.
- Preferred: understanding of SDLC and STLC, experience with Agile/Scrum delivery, industry domain knowledge, and experience presenting automation strategies and results.
- Preferred: exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP; DevOps practices; containerization; microservices testing; performance testing; security testing; and test data management.
- Preferred: familiarity with AI tools including Cursor, Copilot, and Gemini in testing.
