Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support secure, scalable, highly available cloud infrastructure across Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure.
- Build cloud landing zones on GCP and Azure, including networking, identity foundations, governance, observability, security guardrails, and compliance controls.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform for cloud provisioning and lifecycle management.
- Build and operate CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CloudBees.
- Implement cloud governance, security, compliance, monitoring, logging, dashboards, and alerting across multi-cloud environments.
- Execute cloud migration and modernization initiatives, including environment creation, application onboarding, migration stabilization, validation, and lifecycle management.
- Develop automation using Python, Bash, PowerShell, or Groovy and apply GitOps, configuration control, and policy-driven automation.
- Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes container platforms including GKE and AKS.
- Support platform reliability through monitoring, troubleshooting, incident resolution, and operational improvement.
- Manage source control and versioning with Git, GitHub, and Azure DevOps.
- Collaborate with architects, application teams, cloud teams, cybersecurity stakeholders, and platform engineers.
- Contribute to peer reviews, documentation, runbooks, standard operating procedures, and best practices.
- Support decision-making, process optimization, resource allocation, task assignment, team supervision, and performance evaluation as needed.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure and DevOps engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform and Microsoft Azure, including networking, compute, storage, IAM, and platform security.
- Experience implementing cloud landing zones across GCP and Azure.
- Experience with Terraform and Ansible for automation and Infrastructure as Code, plus scripting in Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience, including deployment and scaling of workloads on AKS or GKE.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools such as Google Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Splunk, or Dynatrace.
- Understanding of security and compliance fundamentals including RBAC, least privilege, MFA/SSO, IAM policies, and audit readiness.
- Experience with cloud migration and modernization, infrastructure migration, lifecycle upgrades, and environment cutovers.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps platforms such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and GitHub Actions.
- Strong Linux/Unix administration experience, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, filesystem management, and OS-level diagnostics.
- Preferred certifications include Professional Cloud Architect, Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate, and Certified Kubernetes Administrator or equivalent.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot or similar.
- Ability to collaborate across architecture, application, cloud, security, and platform engineering teams.
