Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 technical support for mission-critical banking applications and platforms.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents, outages, performance issues, and major incidents.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive and corrective actions.
- Support platform engineering across cloud and hybrid environments.
- Build, maintain, and troubleshoot CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
- Support Terraform-based infrastructure deployments and operational changes.
- Manage Kubernetes, OpenShift, AKS, Docker, and Helm container platforms.
- Monitor platform health, availability, performance, and capacity using observability and monitoring tools.
- Automate operational tasks using Shell/Bash, PowerShell, and Python scripting.
- Support releases, deployments, patching, and platform upgrades.
- Maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and knowledge articles.
- Collaborate with Development, Infrastructure, Security, and Application Support teams.
- Participate in on-call support and incident, problem, and change management processes.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of infrastructure or platform operations experience.
- Strong experience supporting DevOps and CI/CD environments.
- Experience supporting Kubernetes and OpenShift platforms.
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools.
- Hands-on administration of Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server.
- Experience supporting enterprise applications in production environments.
- Experience with Azure Cloud operations and Terraform deployments.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitHub Actions, Git, Jenkins, and YAML pipelines.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining container platforms with Kubernetes, OpenShift, AKS, Docker, and Helm.
- Experience with Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor, ELK Stack, Splunk, and Log Analytics.
- Experience managing Azure Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage, Key Vault, Monitor, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, and Identity & Access Management.
- Proficiency with Shell/Bash scripting and PowerShell; Python experience is preferred.
- Preferred experience supporting banking or BFSI customers.
- Preferred certifications include Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, Red Hat OpenShift Certification, and ITIL Foundation.
