Base Salary
$147k - $210k/yr
Responsibilities
- Write product or system development code.
- Build and deploy production recommendation system models for retrieval, prediction, ranking, personalization, search quality, and embeddings.
- Use ML infrastructure for model deployment, evaluation, optimization, data processing, and debugging.
- Collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews.
- Contribute to documentation and educational content and adapt it based on product updates and user feedback.
- Triage, debug, track, and resolve product or system issues by analyzing their operational and quality impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience programming in Python or C++.
- At least 1 year of experience building and deploying recommendation system models in production.
- At least 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure, including model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, or debugging.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Preferred: experience developing accessible technologies.
