Base Salary
$125k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant devices that operate for long periods with minimal maintenance.
- Participate in and lead architecture, design, and code reviews.
- Improve product experience, reliability, and efficiency.
- Develop prototypes and manage experiments to validate key design concepts.
- Write quality Linux-based software for common processors and microcontrollers.
- Develop hardware-in-the-loop testbeds and test cases.
- Own the complete software lifecycle, including development, testing, and support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or another STEM discipline.
- At least one year of professional software engineering experience; internship experience is acceptable.
- Deep understanding of technologies previously worked with and the ability to analyze issues several layers deep.
- Experience with embedded systems and launching or operating consumer or enterprise products.
- Knowledge of networking and the Linux networking stack.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and software engineering fundamentals.
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment with changing needs and requirements.
- Applicants must meet applicable ITAR authorization requirements.
