Responsibilities
- Build scalable, globally accessible web applications and platforms.
- Apply Java/J2EE and object-oriented design and development practices.
- Work with SQL and relational databases.
- Develop and maintain microservices and web services.
- Contribute to software quality, architecture, documentation, and engineering best practices.
- Coach and mentor other engineers.
- Collaborate with teammates to strengthen team unity and integrate new processes, methodologies, and technologies.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional programming experience.
- Strong experience with SAFe Agile/Scrum development methodology.
- Strong experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Strong understanding of Java/J2EE and object-oriented design and development.
- Solid understanding of web standards, XML, web services, and REST.
- Strong understanding of microservices.
- Exposure to AWS and/or Azure.
- Experience building scalable, globally accessible web applications and platforms.
- Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, adaptability, ownership, and self-direction.
- Strong commitment to quality, architecture, and documentation.
- Ability to coach and mentor others in engineering disciplines and best practices.
