Base Salary
$193k - $303k/yr
Responsibilities
- Extend the company data graph by extracting company information from websites and detecting stale records.
- Build models to estimate headcount and revenue for under-documented companies using gradient-boosted trees, regression, and calibrated uncertainty.
- Develop entity-resolution systems that determine whether records represent the same company or person.
- Infer buying intent from multilingual web content for propensity scoring, lookalike retrieval, and contact recommendations.
- Build production research agents, design evaluations, and analyze failures in systems without a single correct answer.
- Distill, quantize, and serve large models cost-effectively across the full dataset.
- Set technical direction, lead design reviews, mentor engineers, and raise the engineering bar.
Requirements
- Production experience taking machine learning systems from development through launch and ongoing ownership.
- Individual-contributor technical leadership experience setting direction, leading design reviews, and mentoring.
- Expertise in classical machine learning, supervised learning, feature engineering, applied statistics, experiment design, statistical inference, and calibrated scores under class imbalance.
- Experience deploying text classification, information extraction, and entity linking over large-scale multilingual and noisy text.
- Production experience building and operating LLM agents or multi-step systems, including tool and context design, trace-based failure analysis, and evaluation with human-validated LLM judges.
- Proficiency in production Python, strong SQL, and distributed data processing.
- Daily use of AI coding tools with rigorous review of their output.
- Preferred experience with ranking, retrieval, embeddings, learned re-ranking, recall@k, MRR, and nDCG.
- Preferred experience with propensity modeling, clustering, entity resolution, web-scale information extraction, knowledge graphs, or user memory for agents.
- Preferred experience training and serving open-weight models in PyTorch or an equivalent framework, tracking cost per unit of work.
- Preferred experience defending LLM systems against adversarial inputs and prompt injection.
