Base Salary
$250k - $413k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build full-stack products and workflows for content classification, categorization, promotion, and distribution.
- Design and consume GraphQL and RESTful APIs and build resilient, high-scale, low-latency production services.
- Develop complex user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS, React, and modern frontend architecture.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs, data models, and API designs.
- Work with design, product, and engineering partners to build, test, deploy, and launch features end to end.
- Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident reviews.
- Communicate complex technical concepts and drive cross-functional decisions.
Requirements
- Recent hands-on backend experience with Java, C#, or a similar object-oriented language and strong object-oriented design principles.
- Experience with microservices, data modeling, API design, distributed systems, multithreading, parallelism, and software observability.
- Recent hands-on experience building complex, high-quality user interfaces with HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, and CSS.
- Exposure to React and modern frontend architecture, including component design, state management, and performance optimization.
- Strong UI/UX judgment and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to cross-functional peers.
- Ability to work through ambiguity, consider tradeoffs, avoid over-engineering, and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

- Annual salary range of $250,000.00-$413,000.00, with compensation also available through stock options and no bonuses generally offered.
