Responsibilities
- Develop firmware for new smart home IoT products within a global, cross-functional team.
- Translate marketing requirements and product vision into detailed technical specifications.
- Perform requirement analysis, feasibility studies, architecture design, software implementation, testing, and debugging.
- Port, optimize, and integrate algorithms.
- Collaborate with quality and test teams to meet product delivery standards and complete FCT and FT testing software.
Requirements
- Proficiency in C/C++ and strong knowledge of data structures, design patterns, and clean coding practices.
- Experience developing applications on RTOS platforms.
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as SPI, UART, or I2C.
- Preferred knowledge of at least one wireless protocol, including Zigbee, Wi-Fi, Z-Wave, Bluetooth, or LTE.
- Experience with Linux development, software unit testing, and functional testing is valued.
- Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Test Process Improvement (TPI) is valued.
- Strong English reading and writing skills and basic spoken English for global collaboration.
- Ability to drive tasks forward, collaborate effectively, learn quickly, and work with local and global engineering teams.
