Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, troubleshoot, review, and debug secure, high-quality production software solutions.
  • Lead adoption of enterprise-authorized AI-assisted engineering practices, including AI-assisted coding, code review, testing, and incident analysis.
  • Establish standards for validating AI outputs for correctness, performance, security, and compliance.
  • Use software development lifecycle tools and automation capabilities to improve engineering outcomes.
  • Identify and automate recurring issue remediation to improve application and system stability.
  • Evaluate external vendors, startups, internal teams, and architectural designs for applicability to existing systems.
  • Lead software engineering communities of practice and promote adoption of emerging technologies.

Requirements

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
  • Experience leading the effective use of approved AI-assisted software development tools and coaching engineers on safe, compliant adoption.
  • Strong understanding of responsible AI practices, data sensitivity, secure input and output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
  • Advanced proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Hands-on experience with large language models and generative AI.
  • Familiarity with TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, and Hugging Face.
  • Experience with distributed systems and cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Expertise in microservices, RESTful APIs, and relational or NoSQL database technologies.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Experience with JMeter, Blazemeter, and Chaos Monkey Testing.
  • Experience with JUnit, UDF, Tophat, Cucumber, Groovy, Postman, REST Assured, Eclipse, Maven, Jenkins, and IntelliJ.
  • Preferred qualifications include cloud certification, practical cloud-native development, financial services or IT systems knowledge, performance and chaos testing, A/B testing, strong system design, application development, operational stability, and cross-team communication skills.
