Responsibilities
- Build and execute automated and manual tests across UI, data, and API layers.
- Create, review, and recommend test plans, test strategies, and test case documentation.
- Build and run automated regression and smoke test suites.
- Log and prioritize defects and report quality status and progress to management.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and release planning while raising quality topics.
- Collaborate with development, product, and globally distributed teams to meet delivery deadlines.
Requirements
- 6+ years of experience testing applications with automation frameworks.
- Hands-on automation and white-box testing experience using Java or Python.
- API testing experience with REST, Swagger, and JavaScript/Node.js.
- Experience with testing across the unit, service, and UI layers and with test design techniques including boundary value analysis and equivalence partitioning.
- Basic SQL query skills and experience with Git or similar source control.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and hands-on Agile/Scrum experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, analytical and creative problem-solving, independence, and collaboration skills.
- Preferred: Selenium or Playwright automation experience, AWS exposure, BDD, CI tools such as GitHub, full-stack testing from database through UI, and basic financial market knowledge, especially CDS.
