Responsibilities
- Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated web test scripts using Java or Python and Selenium.
- Build automation frameworks from scratch and integrate automation tools with CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform API testing to assess the reliability and performance of web services.
- Conduct database testing and validate data using SQL.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and reviews.
- Communicate with clients to gather requirements, provide updates, and address concerns.
- Provide technical training to the existing testing team.
- Strategize and estimate new automation requirements and projects.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with web automation using Java or Python, preferably with Selenium.
- Proficiency in API testing using tools such as Postman.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and JIRA.
- Knowledge of Agile test methodology and database testing with SQL.
- Bachelor’s degree or MCA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- ISTQB certification.
- Proven record of delivering high-quality, complex automation testing solutions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and client-facing skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, multitask, and work flexible hours.
- Knowledge of Cypress or Test Robot Automation is preferred.
- GenAI or LLM model testing experience is preferred.
- Finance or banking domain experience is preferred.
- CSTAS or CPTP automation/performance testing certification is preferred.
