Base Salary
$120k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Apply computer vision, large language model, and multimodal AI techniques to construction documents.
- Own and prioritize the intelligence layer, including modeling, data pipelines, and inference.
- Rapidly prototype models and improve them using user feedback and real-world data.
- Build and deploy production AI systems that process noisy, heterogeneous inputs.
- Collaborate with product teams and end users to identify and solve high-impact problems.
- Handle data labeling, ETL, deployment, and other practical engineering work in a small founding team.
- Communicate progress and technical tradeoffs clearly and empathetically.
Requirements
- Hands-on applied computer vision and machine learning experience, including model training and production deployment.
- Experience launching AI systems or building core parts of a new product from scratch.
- Familiarity with state-of-the-art computer vision, large language model, and multimodal model approaches and tooling.
- Ability to iterate quickly and improve prototypes based on real user feedback.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and growth-oriented working style.
- Willingness to perform practical engineering work in a small founding team.
- Impact-driven orientation, ideally with experience building something people used or paid for.
- US work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
- New graduates with strong applied machine learning work are considered.
