Responsibilities
- Build and maintain end-to-end internal tools across backend services, APIs, frontend interfaces, data integrations, and deployment infrastructure.
- Move between varied projects such as workflow automation, internal dashboards, and AI-powered features.
- Integrate LLM, RAG, and agent capabilities into usable software in partnership with the Applied AI Engineer.
- Work directly with teams across the business to understand problems and build effective solutions.
- Own systems through production and ongoing operation while balancing quality and delivery speed.
Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to write production-grade full-stack software across backend, APIs, and frontend layers.
- Experience with Python and/or TypeScript and a modern web framework.
- Track record of adapting to unfamiliar problems and shipping varied systems.
- Extensive experience using AI APIs and building features on top of models, even if AI is not the candidate’s primary specialty.
- Ability to understand non-technical team problems and turn them into working software.
- Comfort working with data pipelines, databases, and structured and unstructured data.
- Ability to work autonomously on a small team with limited process.
- Preferred experience building internal tools or platforms, cloud and deployment systems, LLM-powered production features, and varied end-to-end systems.
