Responsibilities
- Independently design and develop enterprise software products.
- Take on complex problems and contribute to the overall product space.
- Drive design sessions and participate in technical innovation.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers.
- Apply software development lifecycle knowledge and work with Quality Assurance to transfer knowledge and validate test plans.
- Troubleshoot issues and work with minimal supervision in a deadline-driven environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent/MCA or equivalent qualification.
- 6–8 years of relevant work experience.
- Hands-on expertise with Core Java, JavaScript, and Enterprise Java.
- Experience with SQL, PL/SQL, Jasper/BIRT Reports, jQuery, and Highcharts.
- Knowledge of database design using an RDBMS and experience in UI design and development.
- Experience with at least one application server, such as Tomcat or JBoss.
- Experience designing, developing, and testing enterprise-class systems and applying design patterns.
- Experience with UNIX/Linux, Ansible, Ant, XSL, IDEs, and version management tools such as SVN or Git.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
