Base Salary

$125k - $150k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, integrate, deploy, and sustain software capabilities for the Application Arsenal platform.
  • Translate user stories, operational requirements, and mission needs into secure, maintainable software solutions.
  • Develop APIs, services, integrations, automation, and software components using languages such as Python, Java, C#, Go, or C++.
  • Implement resilient microservices, event-driven, serverless, distributed, DDIL, tactical-edge, and cross-domain software architectures.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and configure SAST, DAST, SCA, container, and image scanning as automated security gates.
  • Deploy and support software in Kubernetes, cloud, virtualized, platform-as-a-service, afloat, ashore, tactical-edge, autonomous-system, and other authorized environments.
  • Create automated unit, integration, system, and acceptance tests and support FAT, SAT, SOVT, and other validation activities.
  • Troubleshoot software, infrastructure, integration, deployment, and production issues and remediate vulnerabilities and defects.
  • Produce technical documentation, deployment procedures, test artifacts, release materials, and Technical Data Package contributions.
  • Support fielding, upgrades, exercises, demonstrations, operational events, incident response, and sustainment activities.
  • Collaborate with systems engineers, cybersecurity engineers, platform teams, government stakeholders, and mission partners in Agile engineering teams.

Requirements

  • Active Top Secret clearance or TS/SCI eligibility with a completed Tier 5 investigation.
  • Security+ certification, CompTIA Cloud+, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent operational certification.
  • At least five years of software development experience using Agile frameworks to design, develop, test, and deliver production software.
  • Experience coding in at least one of Python, Java, C#, Go, or C++; implementing modern architectural patterns; using Git-based workflows; and supporting end-to-end software delivery through production deployment.
  • At least two years of DevSecOps experience in a highly regulated government or DoD environment, including automated security testing and CI/CD quality gates for SAST, DAST, SCA, and container or image scanning.
  • At least two years of experience coding, integrating, and maintaining resilient software for DDIL environments, afloat and ashore PaaS environments, and secure Cross-Domain Solutions integration.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot defects, integration issues, deployment failures, and production incidents and to create automated tests.
  • Ability to work effectively in Agile multidisciplinary teams and communicate technical information clearly to government and technical stakeholders.
  • Preferred experience includes DoD or federal mission systems, Kubernetes and Docker, cloud-native or edge environments, government DevSecOps platforms, secure data-transfer mechanisms, tactical or autonomous systems, observability, classified facilities, RMF activities, vulnerability remediation, and operational test events.
