Responsibilities
- Design and develop reliable, modular, and secure software components.
- Develop software on a RHEL operating system platform.
- Build custom C++ applications, X Windows applications, and web-based middleware.
- Develop software and policies supporting security accreditations.
- Design, build, and maintain large-scale systems in production.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with at least nine years of experience, or a master’s degree with at least seven years of experience; additional experience may substitute for a degree.
- U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance, with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance after starting.
- Experience with Linux/RHEL and strong web development experience.
- Experience with JavaScript, React, CSS3, HTML5, Angular, jQuery, and LESS.
- Experience with Nginx or Apache servers and a strong Linux background.
- Familiarity with PostgreSQL, Oracle, MongoDB, and MySQL.
- Basic UI/UX and prototype design ability.
- Understanding of low-level operating system concepts, including multithreading, memory management, networking, storage, performance, and scale.
- Ability to visualize proposed systems and build them.
- Experience with C++ and strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems, is desired.
