Base Salary
$124k - $202k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy scalable, reusable, and maintainable applications that process large amounts of data.
- Own work across development, testing, deployment, production support, correctness, reliability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with engineers, product owners, designers, and leadership on technical designs and implementations.
- Contribute to technical architecture, design, code quality, and continuous improvement of team workflows.
- Use AI-assisted development workflows where appropriate and develop a deep understanding of CoStar’s business and analytics products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited, not-for-profit, in-person college or university.
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Production experience using AI-assisted development workflows and tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
- Solid understanding and experience with object-oriented programming.
- Deep knowledge of modern server-side languages and application frameworks, including C#, .NET Framework, Web API, and Node.
- Knowledge of modern front-end languages and frameworks, including JavaScript and React.
- Expertise with relational database systems such as SQL Server.
- Expertise with software development practices including code reviews, source control, builds, testing, and operations.
- Expertise with source control tools such as Git or TFS.
- Preferred qualifications include cloud platform experience with AWS or Azure and experience with NoSQL technologies such as Redis or Neo4j.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- A demonstrated track record of commitment to prior employers.
