Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend applications and APIs using C# and .NET.
- Build and enhance microservices architecture components.
- Design and implement RESTful APIs and web services.
- Create efficient database access layers and write SQL queries.
- Deploy and monitor applications in Microsoft Azure.
- Write clean, maintainable, and documented code.
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices.
- Contribute to unit and integration testing strategies.
- Work with containerization, message queues, and event-driven architecture.
- Use version control and development tools while following software development lifecycle practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or relevant coding bootcamp certification or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience.
- At least 5 years of experience with .NET Core/.NET 8+ and C# development.
- Strong knowledge of C#, .NET, RESTful API design, microservices, cloud-native services, and containerized architecture.
- Basic experience with SQL databases and query writing, with SQL Server preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services, development tools, version control, ORM tools, and automated testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, authentication and authorization, caching, design patterns, and software architecture principles.
- Understanding of Agile methodologies, software development lifecycle practices, web service development, and API integration.
- Microsoft Azure Fundamentals or C# certifications are a plus.
- Familiarity with Visual Studio or VS Code and Agile development methodologies is a plus.
