Responsibilities
- Build successful client relationships and provide technical and business value in collaboration with Account Executives.
- Lead hands-on customer evaluations, programming, proofs of concept, and integrations with cloud ecosystems and third-party applications.
- Advise customers on architecture, design, and implementation to drive adoption of the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform.
- Create reference architectures, how-to materials, demo applications, workshops, seminars, and meet-up content.
- Develop technical and industry expertise and contribute to the Databricks technical community.
Requirements
- Experience engaging customers in technical sales and communicating technical and value propositions.
- At least 7 years of experience in pre-sales, solution consulting, or related customer-facing technical roles.
- Prior coding experience in a core programming language such as Python, SQL, or Java, with willingness to learn Spark.
- Hands-on proficiency with big data analytics technologies, complex proofs of concept, and public cloud platforms.
- Experience discovering use cases, scoping projects, and delivering complex solution architecture designs to audiences with varying technical depth.
- Fluency in German and English.
- Ability to work in the Munich or Berlin region or within commuting distance for a hybrid schedule.
